Take part in our FREE 12 day ‘Learn to Paint and Draw’ Challenge

12 Step by step demonstration videos have been posted for you to follow along and complete in your own time.

Go right back to basics and learn how to draw and position your work using the grid method. Then enjoy painting your image to create effective results.

These demos are suitable for complete beginners or those who would love to remind themselves how to attempt to draw and paint any object and think about composition.

When you have finished you can post your pictures to social media using #LTP12DAYCHALLENGE and tagging @Artacademyeast. Alternatively if you are too young for social media or if you are a teacher who has shared it with your class, then please feel free to email your pictures to info@artacademyeast.co.uk if you are happy for us to share them.

The challenges are created using pencil and watercolour inks. You can use pencils, pens, markers, watercolours, watercolour inks, acrylics, crayons, colouring pencils…anything you can get your hands on!
